INCITE 2020 PROMPT

The theme of this year's conference is
2020 Vision. To have 20/20 vision, we need to see clearly not only what is in front of us, but also what is all around us.

To have true insight, we need to shine a light on what is not in plain sight. The late Toni
Morrison, eminent and wise American author, shared this sentiment: “IF THERE'S A BOOK THAT YOU WANT TO READ, BUT IT HASN'T BEEN WRITTEN YET, THEN YOU MUST WRITE IT.”

Consider what stories you think need to be written that you have not yet seen. Write in whatever form you choose - poem (one poem, up to 120 lines), short fiction (1500 words max.), creative nonfiction  (1500 words max.) As our theme is VISION, we invite submissions to include an accompanying photograph.

Tell the story that is not often told, help us see what is not often seen. How can you help create a richer vision of our world in the 21st Century?
